Shipping
We dispatch every piece from our London atelier with care. Below is everything you need to know about how, when, and where we ship.
Production time
Some pieces are held in stock and dispatched within one to two business days. Others are made to order: cut from Italian fabric and sewn by hand, one piece at a time, then checked before dispatch. Where a piece is made to order, the expected timing is shown on the product page and at checkout. Everything is sent with a confirmation email, tracked and signed.
Complimentary delivery
Every order is sent by DHL Express, tracked and signed for. Delivery is a flat £35, and it is complimentary on orders over £350 in the UK and the EU, and over £450 for the rest of the world. Thresholds are shown in your own currency across the site.
Returns
You have 14 days to change your mind, and return postage is free in the United Kingdom. You may choose a full refund to your original payment method, or store credit. The choice is always yours. Read the full returns policy.
United Kingdom
- DHL Express (1 to 4 business days): £35, complimentary on orders over £350
Every price you see in pounds already includes UK VAT at 20 per cent. The figure on the product page is the figure you pay. There is nothing further to pay on delivery, and no charge is added at checkout beyond the delivery cost shown above. All UK orders are sent tracked and signed for.
Europe
- DHL Express (1 to 4 business days): £35, complimentary on orders over £350
Our garments are made in the European Union and dispatched from London, which means an EU order re-enters the EU as an import. Import VAT and customs duty may therefore be charged by your own country when the parcel arrives. These charges are set by the destination country, are not collected by us, and are the customer's responsibility. Your delivery is sent duty unpaid, and DHL will contact you directly if anything is owed.
Rest of world
- DHL Express (2 to 5 business days), tracked and signed for: £35, complimentary on orders over £450
Orders outside the UK and the EU may be subject to import duty and local handling fees on arrival. These vary by country, are not collected by us, and are the customer's responsibility. The United States does not charge VAT on imported goods, though customs duty may still apply. If you would like an estimate before you order, write to us and we will find out for you.
Tracking
Every order is dispatched with a tracking number. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to track your delivery. If you do not receive this email within three working days of dispatch, please contact us at hello@martinalondon.com.
Delivery delays
Once a piece has been handed to our courier, delivery is in their hands. Whilst we will always do our best to assist, we cannot be held liable for delays caused by the courier, customs, or events outside our reasonable control.
